It all started with a poodle skirt…
…And a karaoke machine. Marie was 6 years old at a 50’s themed party when she got up on a stage for the first time, and sang out The Shangri-Las’ “Leader of the Pack”. It was that moment she knew what she was going to do with her life. After graduating with a B.M. in Vocal Performance from University Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Marie headed out east.
Marie currently lives in NYC (okay, Queens). Outside of performing the Mezzo-Soprano repertoire of “witches, bitches, and boys”, she is a proud dog-aunt to two French bulldogs. She also aspires to be a beekeeper, someday.
